Very good string for the money

Just to qualify the review: I used the Stirling 17g to string my Wilson Blade 18x20 racket. I'm 60+ and had tennis elbow about 13-15 years ago. I wouldn't use anything else other than multifilament.
Stirling is a very good multifilament, I'd say a tad below the Tecnifibre X-One (my favourite one so far). But much better than many other multifilaments I used in the past, (especially considering the price!).
I live in Canada and Sterling is not readily available on this market. But I would continue using it if I could.

Not for me

Unfortunately, my experience with Sterling 17 was not a good one. I strung my Wilson Clash 100 Pro V2 at 54 lbs. With just under 6 hours of playing a main snapped. I strung the racket myself taking care not to stress the strings, I've not had a string snap this quickly before.

My style of play is heavy topspin serve and medium topspin on the backhand. 4.0 level.

It's possible a defect in the string or even a nick occurred during stringing. I did, however, like the feel of the string and found it easy on the arm. I did have to work a little harder to get topspin and found there to be effortless power. I may try it again later hoping that this string is more durable than what I experienced.

Update: Dave from Klipper was good enough to email me and make suggestions based on my experience. Although the strings didn't hold up as I expected, they played well. More importantly, Klipper provides an excellent customer experience and cares about its customers.
