Softer co-poly material is easier on the arm and provides a softer feeling on drop shots.

Spin Max does what it says

Not much to say about Spin Max 16. I'm a heavy user and like to hit the ball hard with a lot of topspin. 've strung my racquets with it for many years at 53 lbs -- probably close to 100 times by now. It does what it says and grips the ball and spins it hard. I haven't tried the 17, but 16 gives a reasonable lifespan, maybe 20 hrs of hard hitting. I string it for my wife, who doesn't hit the ball hard, and it lasts a year.

I use Zyex mains, spin max cross. Less stress on arm and shoulder. I string iS12 racket at 42 lbs - both strings.

These are the strings for me!

I've tried a lot of different types of strings on my racket, as well as different tensions. You need a sting that fits your playing style. These are stiff strings that generate a lot of spin. They string like wire - they actually hold their shape if you bend them. So if you like a lot of dwell time and flex, these won't do that for you. But if you hit with spin (top/slice/side) everything is exaggerated with these strings. Kick serves explode off the court. Topspin to die for. Not so much touch. But they also (like most poly) lose their flex quickly, so replacing them often is necessary.
